Rose October

Social Media Campaign

Challenge:

Partilhas is a nonprofit that supports people living with cancer. Their mission is to humanize healthcare through closer, more compassionate care.

Across multiple Rose October campaigns, their team launched creative initiatives to raise awareness around breast cancer prevention, not just encouraging screenings, but empowering women to treat self-care as an act of strength and advocacy.

They needed a creative system that could carry that message clearly and emotionally across multiple formats.

Role:

Art Direction | Creative Direction | Illustration | Animation

Deliverables included:
• Illustrated social media assets
• Phone backgrounds
• Short animations for digital use
• Posters, flyers, and print signage
• Branded t-shirt designs

Impact:

The campaign became a central expression of the Partilhas voice — something staff and community members could rally behind. Volunteers wore the t-shirts at events. Posters were shared in clinics. Animations helped carry the message across social platforms with clarity and heart.

The work helped increase visibility, strengthen community ties, and indirectly support fundraising goals — showing how thoughtful creative can humanize a message and move people to act.

Approach

We approached this as a campaign ecosystem — not just a one-off visual execution. I created tailored visuals for each edition, building on a flexible illustration and animation system that could evolve year after year while staying consistent in tone: warm, direct, and emotionally grounded.

Clarity and empathy were our design anchors. Every asset needed to work across formats while remaining unmistakably “Partilhas.” That meant adapting illustrations with and without backgrounds, and scaling them across digital and print without losing their emotional core.

“And that ability has led to very real results: greater visibility for the cause, deeper community engagement, stronger institutional credibility — and yes, even indirect financial returns. I’ve noticed that the more trust we build, the more support we receive.”

The animations you create aren’t just ‘beautiful’ or ‘technically well-done.’ They tell stories, start conversations, break taboos, and deliver messages where words often can’t. And that ability has led to very real results: greater visibility for the cause, deeper community engagement, stronger institutional credibility — and yes, even indirect financial returns. I’ve noticed that the more trust we build, the more support we receive.

If I had to give it a score, I’d say your work has had a 10 out of 10 impact in how it helps us communicate our values and mission. Qualitatively, I’d highlight your sensitivity, your rare creativity, your deep dedication, and the ability to read beyond the obvious.

I say this with full conviction: what you do isn’t just design. It’s impact. And that’s exactly what any brand, association, or future-facing project needs.
